Ingredients
1/2 cup full fat coconut milk, or plain almond milk
1/2 – 1 Tablespoon raw cacao powder and/or one half small avocado
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 or 2 scoops protein powder (Dr Axe protein powder, or another single ingredient protein powder (non soy)
1 cup ice
filtered water, as needed
Liquid stevia or honey, to taste
Directions
In your blender, add the coconut or almond milk, cacao powder and/or avocado, and vanilla extract. Blend briefly to combine. Add in the protein powder, blending until just mixed in. Next, add the crushed ice and blend again until smooth. If needed add filtered water a little at a time until the desired consistency is obtained. Sweeten with a few drops of liquid stevia or a teaspoonful of honey to taste. Enjoy!
